General and Solo Mode

  • The Connexion app is available for download on the iOS App Store for iPhones and on Google Playstore for Android phones.

  • The current version of Connexion is compatible with devices that run:

    iOS 10.0 and later
    Android 4.3 and later (with Bluetooth 4.0 enabled)

  • Press and hold the toy's power button to turn it on. Keep holding the button until the light begins to start flashing. This means it is entering pairing mode.

    Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth. Open The CX app and tap the connection icon in the upper right corner.

    Tap [+] to begin searching for the toy. After your toy is found, tap on the card that shows the toy you want to connect to. The toy’s light will stay on to indicate it is connected. Your toy can now be controlled by the CX app.

  • Do not try to pair the device to your phone's Bluetooth settings. Please follow the instructions above to connect your device. A pairing code is not required.

  • No, each device can only be connected to one device at a time.

  • These permissions are required to use some of the app’s chat/control features. Some features will not be available without certain permissions enabled.

  • First, please make sure your device has sufficient battery before trying to pair.

    Depending on your device, the travel lock may be enabled. Please disable by holding down the button on the device for up to 10 seconds.

  • Location Permissions Issue

    Please make sure you have given location permission.

    On your phone, either long-press the Connexion app icon and go to App Permissions, or go to:

    1. Settings -> Apps -> App Permissions -> Connexion

    2. Tap: Location or Nearby Devices

    3. Set to Allow While Using the App

  • If you have paired through system before, go to

    1. Settings -> Bluetooth

    2. Find the device, tap and choose “Forget this device”

    3. Turn Bluetooth Off and On again on your phone

    4. Open the app, and tap Pair Device to go through pairing mode again

    5. Do not leave or close the app during pairing process

    6. Make sure the device has sufficient battery before trying to pair

    7. Make sure the device is in pairing mode

Partner & Accounts

  • Yes, both of you are required to create a separate account and then add each other as friends in order to use long-distance control.

    Once signed up, you can invite each other via Partner Share link or add each other’s username.

  • You can sign up using your Apple ID, Google account or simply by email.

    To Sign Up, please go to:

    1. Connect tab on bottom menu

    2. Choose your preferred method

    3. If you choose to sign up via email, you will need to verify your email account

    4. Once signed in, you will be asked to set a Username

  • After signing in, please go to:

    1. Connect tab

    2. Tap +

    3. You can then either search by partner’s username

    4. Please ensure exact username is entered

    5. Or tap Send direct invite link to send a link to your partner via other messaging programs.

  • Please ensure that you have inputted the username correctly.

  • Connexion compatible devices can be controlled no matter the distance, as long as you both have Wi-Fi or a 4G/5G data connection.

  • Yes. Your partner does not need a device to control your device through the Connexion app. You both just need an account and Wi-Fi or a 4G/5G data connection.

  • iOS – swipe left on the contact’s name and tap "Delete".

    Android – long press on the contact and tap “OK” on the prompt.

  • To delete your account, please go to Menu -> Settings -> Delete Account
